It is a usually best to have a patent search conducted to determine patentability before you invest time or money in a new project idea. If cost is a factor initially, you can conduct a free patent search on the Internet. However, before a patent application is filed, it is recommended that a full us patent search
be conducted at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). We are located in close proximity to the US Patent Office and have a working knowledge of the area and the examining groups.
Typically our patent searches for patentability with opinions include
data obtained from:
* A computer based search at the USPTO;
* Coverage of published patent applications;
* A manual search fine-tuned based on the results of the computer
results; and
* A follow-up with a patent examiner in the group art unit where your patent application will be examined.
We
have over a decade of searching patents at the US
Patent and Trademark Office and negotiating patent
prosecution issues with patent examiners. We
also have experience with litigation that helps us to
prepare strong patent applications for your

Our
offices are convenient to the US Patent and Trademark
Office which allows us to work onsite at the USPTO to
use the USPTO searching tools. The tools
available at the USPTO are far superior to those that
are available on the Internet. For example,
patent examiners use the "East Search
System" that provides text and image searching
capabilities across the USPTO patent database with
high integrity and at very high speeds. It is
the same tool that is available to the public at the
USPTO and it is the tool that we use to conduct
efficient patent searches.
Also
remember that the quality of a patent search is
dependant upon the quality of the prior art patents
located during the search.

filing fee.. The average cost is $7885 and complete
financing is available. Discounts are also
